Does the response of cardiovascular variables to physical exercise affect the obese adolescents?
Hypothesis
Ho: The response of arterial blood pressure all through the period of physical exercise exacerbate in overweight adolescents.
HA: The response of arterial blood pressure all through the period of physical exercise does not exacerbate in overweight adolescents.
b) Sampling Strategy
For the research study, the simple size is based on 48 girls and 56 boys that are 104 adolescents, which were divided in two sub-groups that are the eutrophic group and overweight / obese group. Thus, in the study, random sampling was applied as the data was collected from 104 respondents who are adolescents.
c) Independent and Dependent Variables
The dependent variable and independent variables that are used in the research include the following:
Dependent variable = weight, BMI, height and skin fold thickness
Independent variable = cardiovascular variables that are diastolic arterial pressure systolic arterial pressure and heart rate.
d) Type of Research Design
The study is based on the descriptive research design as the descriptive research is not very flexible; the problem may be already clarified. In this context, the goals of this descriptive research include describing the target groups, computing the frequencies and making predictions. The study particularly focuses on the following:
The study provides details of the different methodological approaches that include experimental method which allow the researcher to choose and implement the most appropriate strategy for the response of cardiovascular variables to physical exercise affect the obese adolescents.
The study exceeds the usual boundary between qualitative and quantitative methods of arterial blood pressure all through the period of physical exercise exacerbate in overweight adolescents in the presentation of the collection and analysis to group them according to their purpose.
The study of arterial blood pressure all through the period of physical exercise exacerbate in overweight adolescents addresses variety of analytical methods that include advanced methods such as automated textual analysis or structural equations to get solve the research question that is does the response of cardiovascular variables to physical exercise affect the obese adolescents.
e) Suggestions for Improving the Study's Design and Methods
The results of the study can be improved or can be more reliable, if the sample size of the study is increase. The basis of this statement is that it will help in getting the more authentic results as the larger sample size affect or improve the results of the study. Besides it, use of different sampling techniques can also improve the results of the study as the random sampling which is used in the study is not considered as the reliable sampling technique. In addition to this, different statistical technique can also be applied on the data for case in point, the chi-square or analysis of variance test as it will improve the results of the study.
