Google today unveiled a new digital payment program aimed at standardizing the payment using mobile phones. The program called Google Wallet will use technology known as NFC, where users can use their phones to make electronic payments. So far, companies MasterCard and Citi-Bank have joined the program, although it is expected that Visa, Discovery and other credit card companies and banks are part of Google Wallet.
