Introduction

NFC stands for the Near Field Communication. The NFC enables instant payments with just bring the phone to a collection device.

What is NFC?

Near Field Communication, is a wireless technology (RFID) that enables the exchange of data between 2 devices and the distance (mm, cm, and m) depends on the power and frequency used. Devices that can have that capacity is Smartphone, which can exchange data with other devices and other Smartphone that have active NFC (Robbins Parking Services 2004, pp. 39). NFC technology is no substitute for Bluetooth technology or Wi-Fi, by contrast, is complementary, and that technology is a short-range communication, and mass data transfer.

Companies like Google, Apple, Telefonica, Visa and MasterCard have chosen this technology as a crucial factor in turning the phone into a means of payment. The key handset manufacturers are working hard to incorporate this technology into their devices. Some companies are working on the subject are:
