Introduction

Financing is used by a business to invest in business for fulfillment of their business needs and upcoming need of the business. There are different ways of raising finance for business. Firm chooses among different types of finances by evaluating their cost and benefit. There are different type of financing categorized in two major types; short term and long term financing. Share and debentures fall into long term financing activities. However, with financing there is a cost associated which company need to consider before opting the option (Magginson & Smart, 2008).
