Question 1 Michael Porter's five forces model

Rivalry among competitors

It depicts those companies who compete directly in the same industry, and also offering the same products.

Threat of new entrants

Those who has the potential in entering the same product industry

Threat of substitute

Those potential firms who sell the alternate products

Bargaining power of suppliers

It is the ability of negotiating with the suppliers.

Bargaining power of consumers

It depicts the ability in order to negotiate with the customer

Decision Making

To make a decision, whatever its nature, it is necessary to know, understand, and analyze a problem, in order to solve it. In some cases, be as simple and every day, this is done implicitly and solved very quickly, but there are other cases in which the consequences of a bad or good choice may have impact on the lives and if a work context in the success or failure of the organization, for which it is required a more structured process that can provide more security and information to solve the problem. The decisions affect us all and thanks to them we have a critical opinion.

Decision making is a process in which the person must choose between two or more alternatives. The separation of process steps can be as brief or as extensive as desired, but we can identify the following main stages:

Identify and Analyze the Problem

Identify the Decision Criteria and Weigh

Define the Priority to Address the Problem

Generate Solution Options

Evaluate the Options

A database or database is a data set within the same context and systematically stored for later use. A company can move towards the approach of the databases to make the management and organization of the valuable data secure and easily accessible. Data of any organization is a valuable resource and should be managed and organized in an effective way. The database of an organization is a vital feature for the management of data. The introduction of this technology implies a reduction in the number of laboratories that perform testing to ensure quality technical expertise and ensure efficiency. The implementation of screening requires staff training and development of information materials tailored to different audiences and the establishment of monitoring and evaluation. A database management system (DBMS) is a set of software and linguistic resources of a general or special purpose, providing control of the creation and use of databases. The DBMS of an organization provides data for modeling and forecasting which supports the demands and needs of the top management. The corporate database supports all levels of an organization and is vital for operations, decision making and the management process.

There are five major components in the DBMS environment Hardware

Hardware is a personal computer contains electronic components and various external devices for processing, storage, communication with users and with other electronic devices.
