Nelson & Barry (2005) conducted a research to study the ways in which youth received themselves as adults. The research was carried forward from some of the earlier researches which highlighted only a minority, aged between 18-25, considered their selves as adult, while, a greater portion is uncertain and in the stage of emerging adulthood. The duration between adolescence and adulthood of an individual has been recently termed as emerging adulthood.
