The Research Article I was Selected is “Effects of sleep and sleep deprivation on blood cell count and hemostasis parameters in healthy humans” which was published online on 3 July, 2008 and retrieved from ProQuest.
Theoretical Framework
The conceptual framework of the research suggests that subjective poor sleep is largely associated with the large white blood cells count. The reason for higher white blood cells count is recognized to be connected with coronary infection and subclinical atherosclerosis. The study suggests an association between sleep and inflammatory responses.
