The main topic of the article that is chosen for this assignment is to talk about one of the information system with the name of MPLIS. MPLIS stands for multipurpose land information system (Tulloch and Epstein, 2002). The main focus of this article is to discuss this information system and to talk about its benefits. The authors in this article mention that usage of this information system would reap three important benefits. These three important benefits include efficiency, effectiveness and empowerment (Tulloch and Epstein, 2002). The most of the part of the article talks about the description of these benefits and different ways through which these benefits can be observed.
