Islam, being the second largest religion of the world, preponderates across Asia, Middle East, and Africa. Initiating from Indonesia in the east, it extends through Pakistan and Bangladesh in the Indian subcontinent. Continuing through the lengths of previous Soviet States of Central Asia, it stems into Middle East, and North Africa also It represents half of the total population of Malaysia and Nigeria, and serve as well substantial minorities in countries such as the Philippines, Tanzania, and Trinidad-Tobago (Handelman, H. 2011. 58- 134).
