Quality health care system is a process which increases the likelihood of the desired outcome in the health concern procedures. These systems are professionally designed and are operated by the skilled individual (McGlynn, 1999). Although, the quality system is necessary in every domain of this society and culture. However, the medical sector deals with the society disorders and diseases. Thus, it needs to be more efficient with the details and the quality insurance. The errors are usually caused by the system errors and the lack of attention (Spivey, 2005). That's the reason, it is important to identify regularly if the resistance is seen in any process. Various process improvement measures should be adopted in order to cater any inefficiency and ineffectiveness so that preventable actions could be taken within the time.
Discussion
Methods of Quality Measurement
There are six areas of focus in the health care system for the improvement and continuous care. These systems are safety, patient care, and time effective, efficient and equitable. The ways to measure health care system are scientific and worldwide approved. There is a variety of strategically chosen tools which are appropriate with the quality check. Appropriate check and the balance in the measure require skilled staff in collaboration with the large database and the statistical data. However, compared to quantities method, qualitative method are better in evaluating the health care measurement system, such as change implementation in the organization, patient evaluation, etc (Hughes, 2010).
Root Cause Analysis
Root cause analysis consists of a formal problem solving techniques. The evaluation of this technique is based on the formal problem with a set of formal solutions. These techniques focus on the findings of the problem and then it address the main reason which is causing the problem in the whole system rather than just focusing on the symptoms which causes the hindrance (Spivey, 2005). This might be because the resources are low and the demonstration of the problem might be costly. Root cause analysis illustrates the every possible factor which might have influence the problem to occur (Donaldson, 1999). Thus, it is a detail orientation of the single outcome. Once the factors are extracted then the evaluation process starts that how and why this factor influences the cause. However, root cause analysis has reported as the useful and the most successful evaluation technique in identifying the reported errors and the appropriate differentiation in the active and the passive errors. As, it helps as a basis of identifying the alternative factors and because of this evaluation, the timely measures are taken. The hurdles which can be faced in the future and the aspect which is creating massive destruction can be catered within time (Donaldson, 1999). This process also identifies the need of change and the restructuring of the strategies. It highlights the appropriate time when the policies needs to be altered, it improves the ...
