Most of the staff and sales team have enjoyed working for our Company and in the computer industry for all of their working lives so we can, therefore, speak with authority when customers need advice on sourcing and technical details of any computer parts. Personal computers manufacturing limited has many hundreds of satisfied customers throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and other sister Commonwealth nations (Hook, 2008).

Target Market

The target market is Workhorse and Mercedes as these have high demands. The world market for Workhorse is 10,007 and for Mercedes it is 9,193.

Sales Location

Initially, the sales location will be Paris-Europe which has demand of 5,139. Later, the operations will extend to other cities where demand is high for instance Tokyo-Asia which has demand of 5,501.

Analyzing Work Cells Manufacturing Facility

Generally work cell is an arrangement in manufacturing concern in order to reduce cost, waste and to speed up the process with better production and quality result for this purpose we will focus more on lean management system, so here also in personal computers we will use this technique to improve the product (Heizer, 2008). Normally to avoid waste there are 8 different type of waste. These service wastes includes: waste of overproduction - processing more or sooner than required, waste of motion - movements that are unnecessary and are not required for completing a job, waste of inventory - excess items or supplies, waste of transportation - movement of materials which is more than just-in-time processing, waste of waiting - individuals and items being idle in operations, waste of employees under-utilization, waste of defects, and waste of over-processing - the efforts that do not add value for customers.

Implementation

The simulation will take the challenge of implementing work cells by dividing the complete manufacturing system into cells. Furthermore, the implementation will take into account material flow and its layout. On the other hand, upskilling and corporate culture will also be included. The simulation will ensure that the arrangements are effectively designed, to accommodate specific-task cells which will serve other cells. For instance, a common punch press or test station. To avoid issues, each cell will have its own set of tooling (Gupta, 2004).

The main purpose of this simulation is to assemble customer demand for assured delivery of high quality and low cost with minimum lead-time, as our company deals in computer manufacturing so in order to accomplish this objective, Personal computers need to have better command and presence into the whole supply chain process of their own strategy, as well as those of their customers, and suppliers.
