AORN stands for the association of perioperative registered nurses and it is the professional nursing organization which holds 160,000 registered nurses and among which there are 40,000 nurses in the United States and many abroad. These nurses help in the teaching and management of the perioperative nursing. Some nurses are also involved in the nursing research for the perioperative purposes.
