American Red Cross or ARC is often referred as the American National Red Cross. It is non-profit organization that is mainly depending on the generous aid of volunteers and the volunteers who should be ready to work in the field. The nature of this agency makes it extremely positive in the society. The image of the organization is supported by almost every human being in every country. The future of ARC carries several prospects and intends to join in with many organizations for the sake of acquiring the needed resources and acknowledgement. . The labels used to distinguish these organizations from government and private-sector corporations reveal their merits: nonprofit, accenting altruism and disregard of self-interest; charitable, referring to reliance on donations and generosity; and voluntary, indicating the significance of volunteers as a primary resource. They are powerful generators of social value for certain, but they also create economic value (Bolton & Guest-Jelly, 2013).

Nature of Work

ARC struggles to provide the needy people with shelters, food and emotional support to the victims and families affected by disasters. It excels in the provision of around forty percent of the nation's blood. They works on the rehabilitation of the people by incurring in them the skills that can help them earn respectfully. They help in enhancing the ratio of life among the people and teach them the skills helpful in saving lives and render worldwide humanitarian support.
