Napoleon Bonaparte was born in Corsica in 1769 and was a son of Italian parents. He was a French military leader who had played a great role after the French Revolution. He went for training as an artillery officer in France and led the First and the Second Coalitions. He was able to excel in his military career and was promoted at the age of 24.
