Dear Sir,

I was both exposed to and inspired by a lot of art throughout my childhood. Our family business is based on dealing in antiquities, medals, and coins. As a result I have visited many art galleries throughout Europe, as well as various museums such as the Louvre, and the Uffizi. I regularly visit the V&A, the British Museum, Tate Modern and the National Gallery with Christie's Education programme. This experience has given me the ability to identify and recognise many different styles, paintings and artists, as well as to gain an appreciation of different materials and techniques prevalent in art.It was always clear to me from an early age that I wanted to work in the auctioning business. I started my education in the UK with Gordonstoun School which helped me to acknowledge my path whereas also understanding myself better in terms of my future and my career goal. Most importantly I realised my strength which I should say is my ability to expose myself with confidence to anyone. I feel that with the help of my work experience and especially through Christie's Education, I did grow up to the level when I could apply for a job at Christie's.

After having completed Gordonstoun School, I applied and worked for H.D. Rauch auction house in Vienna. Being a member of the auction house for a year helped me to develop my skills in presenting objects, working under stressful conditions, and further developing my skills related to group work and client service.
