This assignment is based on marketing plan for AOL Inc. It formerly known as America Online, it is a company of internet and media services based in New York. Franchise has sold its services to companies in several countries around the world. AOL has faced a number of lawsuits in the late demands the cessation of billing customers after the accounts were canceled by the company or the same user. In addition, AOL had to change its method of calculating used minutes in response to a class action lawsuit.

AOL is facing a severe completion form the other search engines such as Google, Yahoo. Bing etc. Therefore, there is a vital need that AOL should follow the modern marketing strategies to compete in order to survive and generate profits. The emergence of the "New Marketing" i.e. Web 2.0 has changed the strategic axes of many of the major brands in the global advertising landscape. The reputation that companies generated based on their actions and build brand image in the consumer subconscious is an increasingly important issue (Jobber, 2010).
