Marketing is defined as the act or process of buying and selling in a market and the commercial functions involved in transferring goods from producer to consumer. This transferring of goods is crucial in modern-day business, as without moving goods or services from the place of work to the customer, there is no business. It is important to utilize this facet of business because it can be the competitive advantage or the downfall of a company. Good marketing is directly correlated with good sales. If you have the ability to sell and sell effectively, your chances of attracting new customers while retaining old customers is key in your marketing strategy (Helsen, 1993).

The Me-Can-X game is a game for the Nintendo Wii system that allows the user to interact with automobiles in a similar perspective to the way that an auto mechanic will work on a vehicle. Unlike other car or racing games the player's primary focus is not the racing or driver performance but the mechanical performance and maintenance of the automobiles in the game.
Segmentation
Breaking down the segments of the Me-Can-x game leaves two sections to look at; the two segments are behavioral and demographic. The final segment that will need to be covered is demographic. This is very important information because it will tell us the age and sex of many of the users of the Wii, it will tell us if families are playing the Wii together, and it will tell us what kind of class are purchasing the Wii so we will be able to price the product so that people from all walks of life are able to afford the new game (Cavusgil, 1994). Assuming that we use this information properly the launch of the new Me-Can-x game should be successful and should keep the interest of the users and may even leave a place for an entire collection of Me-Can-x for the Wii.
