Introduction These Regulations were initially presented in 1993 in answer to an EC Directive.  Due to the span that the Regulations had altered they were farther changed in 1999 and the HSE modified its Approved Code of Practice (AcoP).  The Regulations assist to reinforce the obligations of the Health and Safety at Work Act and objective to state and reinforce employers' widespread regulation obligation of care and clarify the employers' blame to recognize health/safety difficulties and to develop entails to battle them.  The major obligations of the Regulations are set out below.
