Introduction

By far, there are numerous organizations operating in the industry with relevant systems of managing information. Managing information system is principally the prerequisite for every organization, either for-profit or non-profit, to arrange the informational structure of the respective organization. This provides organization with the information, internal or external, and its strategic management system effective to pursue the desired set goals of the organization.

However, the organization, which I have chosen is principally got related to Educational Industry. The organization is named as “Triangle House Private Nursery”. It is private nursery situated in West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Being a well-known institution in UK, the nursery aims to provide the most exceptional life start to child. They promise to develop a positive relationship with children and their families, who choose their institute to groom the future of the nation (Matloob, S. 2007).

Managing Information is as important in the education sector, as in any other FMCG or pharmaceutical industry, which considerably requires the most extensive data collection and information regarding customers, market trend, competitors and other related factors. In Education industry, there are several records and aspects, which got to be managed to run an educational institute effectively. The difference between Management Information System and a comprehensive information system is that MIS got used to analyze tactical and operational activities of any organization. MIS provides scheduled information to the management, which got extracted through the data gathered by the organization in its archive. MIS is principally not only a computer-based program it can be an interactive group based system or intellectual individuals based system to generate required information for an organization. In the education sector, it helps managing current and ex-learners' record, through customized computerized system. However, in an education institute like Triangle House Private Nursery, there are several aspects of internal and external information can be required to successfully operate the organization. To operate the institute, the organization requires information regarding the enrolled children, their families and other educational, physical and medical aspects, which got scheduled in the data base system of the organization. However, to run the organization, in terms of management, marketing, accounts and recruitment etc, it is essential for the organization to evaluate these aspects also and extract information, which got required for the effective operation. These business aspects are, however, similar among most organizations, what I shall be focusing on is mostly the importance on Management Information System in providing information to the organization.

Profile of the Customers

Private house nurseries, similar to Triangle House Private Nursery, have analogous target audience to whom their services cater. Most probably, such organizations offer their services to parents, who have children, surpassed their infantry period, but not grown enough to be left alone or sent to schools.
