Introduction

The paper deals with the case study of Joe and how his life events lead him to where he is. In this paper, we aim to select a mode of assessment for the patients which is more suitable and appropriate for them according to their different needs. Group Assessment allows participants, through the sessions, understand their ways of relating to others with neutral partners from whom they receive feedback. During the sessions, different techniques are taught which includes listening skills, rephrasing, role playing, etc. In group assessment, sharing emotions, suffering, fear of rejection, need for affirmation, are expressed and worked on several, thus facilitating the learning of new responses, sometimes the expression of emotions found or development of behavior never before imagined. Confronting the eyes of members of a group takes place in a climate of trust and goodwill. This makes you want peace of mind and courage to go at once to the other without too much fear and independence necessary to the harmonious development of our personality. In contrast to that, individual assessment is different, which allows the patients to have a one on one session with the facilitator and this allows him to get detailed attention.
