The case study centers around the scenario of financial downfall that embraced most of the world some years back, the case centers around such a similar scenario in New York in which companies after two years of economic crisis are now considering as their economic conditions increase that whether they should give incentives to their already suffering employees or should they invest the newly earned income within the growth of the company. The decision is quite critical for Jill McBride who is the owner of JZMcBride and Associates which is a six person public relation firm and has been working hard to not to let any layoffs take place in the past two years of economic downfall. Present in Cincinnati; JZMcBride is a six person public relation firm which has not given any raises to any of its employees through the past two years but now as the economic recession starts to subside and the work load starts to increase the company owner Jill McBride is pondering on the decision of either giving raises to employees to hire a new employee who can bring in more work for the future growth of the company.
