Executive Summary

The aim of this research will be to investigate the role of Human Resource Management in the Swedish Government Hospital. It examines how building up human resource management is important to health care organizations and assesses how organizations could fail if proper HR management is not applied.

Introduction

Swedish Government hospital is located in Chicago, United States of America. This Swedish hospital is a government organization constructed to provide health coverage to its citizens. This hospital is one of the many independent hospitals which work as nonprofit organization to deliver quality health services to those who are deprived of it otherwise. The hospital promotes healthy and healing living by providing patient services that are unmatched and expert care with the help of state of the art facilities. The hospital continues to provide healthcare services to the residents of Chicago in northwest side for the past 25 years.

This government organization invests continuously in new technologies to provide a full range of medical services and to keep itself up to date with the latest technology around in order to provide the best quality of health solutions. The paper will further discuss how health care system can be improved by different techniques especially regarding Human Resource Management (HRM) and the significance of HRM in delivering best healthcare and improving the overall healthcare of the patient. Challenges that are faced by medical health care systems in Unite States are discussed as to how human resource management can affect an organization and its employers and employees. Different solutions and suggestion have also been proposed to overcome these issues by the use of human resource management.

Discussion

The Swedish Government hospital plays an important part in Human resource management (HRM) as it helps to bring talented individuals into the organization and properly managing them during their employment period with the organization. If they are effectively managed an organisation can achieve competitive advantage (Bratton 1999, p.45). Human resource department should bring individuals with unique skills and core competences to the organization. The human resource management plays an important role in any organization, and is responsible for several functions and duties. HR specialists in an organisation are responsible for designing the training plan of the employees. Human Resource Management is one of the most essential aspects in any healthcare organization, which helps the organization in getting several tasks accomplished.
