Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Innovation and Culture” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Innovation and Culture” and its relation with “Organizational Culture and Behavior”. Organizational culture is referred to the collective behavior of the people who work in an organization and the different meanings that are attached to the actions of the people in the organization. It has been studied that organizational culture and behavior of the people of the organization have never been two distinct subjects to be analyzed or discussed. It is significant that the culture within an organization is the core element of the success of an organization that has been discussed in the draft. The core focus of the research is to justify the impact of organizational culture on the success and the flexibility of the organization to cope with the change and innovation that are introduced in the business world.
Culture and Innovation in Organizations
Introduction
An organization is referred to a social entity in which a group of people are gathered to work for a collective objective that is also linked to an external environment. It is commonly viewed that there a number of different organizations in the world having different objectives to achieve. The behavior of the people of these organizations and the culture within these organizations reflect the core objectives of the existence of these organizations. It is also observed that the organizations have to change their organizational culture and their way o f working according to the changes and innovation that occur in the business environment. It is studied that the organizational culture is referred to the collective behavior of the people who work in an organization and the different meanings that are attached to the actions of the people in the organization (Taylor, 2008). A culture involves the norms, vision, values, symbols, systems, habits, beliefs and the working language that are implemented by the people of the organization. The culture within an organization is also viewed as the assumptions and behaviors that are taught to the members of an organization to generate and shape their feeling, thinking and perception regarding to a number of maters that have to be decided in their day to day activities (Alvesson, ...
