This heading will discuss the manifest destiny imperialism. It will explain what the term means. The paper will explain the terms of imperialism. The doctrine of Manifest Destiny is a phrase or idea that expresses the belief that the United States of America is a nation destined to spread from the shores of the Atlantic to the Pacific. This idea is also used by proponents to justify other territorial acquisitions (Hietala 2003, 14).

Manifest Destiny & Imperialism

This heading will explain the manifest destiny and imperialism in the American history. Many American pioneers championed the idea that the ideals of freedom and the nation are of universal significance and would put in the new countries by the range of the nation (and its limits) extended. The imperialism referred to the American perception of the influence of the United States in the areas political, military, economic and cultural worldwide.
