Adolf de Meyer (1868-1949) was a Paris born photographer who was known for making the portraits of famous people. His father was a German and his mother was a Scottish, and he was educated in Dresden. He joined the royal photographic society in 1893. De Meyer was homosexual, but his wife Olga was bisexual. His wife Olga was the one who introduced him to celebrities, and that is when he started taking photographs of celebrities, and unleashed his talent to the world.
