Michael Bennett views the book of Ritter as the source which provides information regarding Business Continuity Planning (BCP). He provides information and significance of BCP to organizations and provide them detail about BCP what it can do for the organization and how organization run smoothly? It focuses over how to manage crises and what the organization needs in order to implement it.

After reading this book, I am able to understand about BCP that it is related to Total Security Management. TSM is the function which enables the security of the cargo and defines the role of technology in the phase of security. BCP make the organization enable to address the unexpected disasters.

Ritter also focuses over Interaction between the personnel. It is essential in order to make sure the security of the goods as well as the customers. Ritter has focused over the importance of technology, how it enable personnel to coordinate in order to make sure that only safe cargo can enter in to the country. To avoid the occurrence of cargo losses, adequate security measures should be enhanced at these storage facilities (Ritter, Barrett, & Wilson, 2007). Technology such as Satellite communication is also used for the purpose of safety. Cargo has installed with automated tracking devices to mitigate the chances of theft and loss. It will help out the personnel to track data.

Technology help us out in order to ensure security, it helps personnel to coordinate in a timely manner. In conclusion, I have seen that TSM and BCP are essential to implement because it helps to track out the data in case of theft or loss.
