To sell anything it is necessary to know the demands of consumers. The decision made made by the consumer is really a point of interest for manufacturers. This research on consumer behavior is going on since a long way, but still unpredictable or very difficult to predict due to the changing nature of human being. 300 years ago, Nicholas Bernoulli, John von Neumann and Oskar Morgenstern, led the foundation of knowing and evaluating the consumer decision making (Richarme,2007). The starting step defined the economic perception and emphasized only the purchasing phenomenon (Loudon,1993). The most preferable model in this scenario is 'Utility Theory' which tells that the consumers choices are based on the result of their decision making. Consumers who think only of their interest are considered as rational decision makers. Studies are usually focusing on Consumer behavior, tells that lots of factors influence the consumer behavior, and so the decision making capability, similarly light is thrown on a wide range of utilization activities before purchasing. Such activities are recognition of need, searching authentic and accurate information, researching and evaluation of substitutes or alternatives timely, creating the intention of consumers to purchase, the way of purchasing, utilization procedure and at last disposal. The consumer behavior pattern is completely changed from the past years due to the evolution. In light of new research methods, the behavior pattern of human being is being nicely evaluated and implementation of necessary steps are being done according to that analysis. As we know that human likes change, so the behavior pattern also change from time to time. Many factors involve in this transformation process. The life styles, the impact of weather, the places of living, sometimes the change in native lands, of course the fashion of that particular area and time. Just take an example of a very simple necessity of life that is clothes. The variations in designing and styling changes time to time. This may be influenced by weather, like usually woolen clothes are preferable in the winter season. The country environment, if the person living in a colder region then woolen clothes will be there for a long time as a consumer's choice. It is said by fashion experts that people should always be particular about their clothing and the place/season /occasion at which they are wearing that particular clothing. For example , wearing thick clothes in a summer season will not be a wise thing to do as far as the fashion experts are concerned.This is such a foolish thing to say that the behavior pattern of someone remains same throughout or his or her nature patterns remains unchanged through all phases of life.
