Abstract

Eastern Division areas are characterized by being more prone to violence and less secure than any Division subEastern or rural areas. The question of what makes some neighborhoods more dangerous places to live is difficult to answer, but several attempts have been made. Wirth Classics (2008), Shaw and McKay (2002) and Simmel (2001) suggest that certain aspects of the environment of the Eastern Division of promoting social disorganization and individual alienation. These two conditions can lead to social deviant behavior that could result in the East Division areas being the most dangerous places to live less than this Division environment. Included among the factors contributing to deviant behavior are the size, density, heterogeneity, low economic level, residential mobility and family disruption.

Introduction

This paper focuses on issues of this crime of the U.S. and the Western Division in U.S., with special emphasis on the similarities and / or differences in the types of crimes and violence levels.
