Brazil enjoys a very significant position in the international market. Growth and development in the industry and energy sector has helped Brazil to earn an important place in the global market. The country has grown significantly in industry, agriculture and in the energy sector as well. The country has used its political and diplomatic relations with other countries to increase its trade related activities. This has helped the country to increase its currency gain and hence use this amount in other developmental plans and program.

Introduction

Technology, Globalization, Outsourcing and several other factors, elements and procedures have changed the way business used to run and corporate used to develop. In addition, as a result of these procedures, the overall global economy has also experienced various drastic fluctuations. Nations that failed to adapt these changes experienced a decline in their economic conditions. On the other hand, the countries that molded themselves in accordance with the external factors had a chance to grab the opportunities and boosted their economies. One of such countries that have known to emerge as a developing economy is Brazil. Declared as the world's seventh largest economy in the year 2012, Brazil currently enjoys great attention at the international scene.

Brazil enjoys a geographical location that has always offered it various opportunities and advantages. Located on the east near the Atlantic Ocean, the coastline of Brazil is spread up to 7,491 km or 4,655 mi. On its Northern border is located Suriname, Guyana, Venezuela and the overseas area of the French Guiana. On the south is located Uruguay whereas on the southwest is located Paraguay and Argentina. On the west is located Peru and Bolivia. On the northwest of Brazil is situated Colombia. Several archipelagos constitute several parts of the Brazilian territory, that includes Rocas Atoll, Fernando de Noronha, Paul Rocks, Saint Peter, Trindade and also Martim Vaz. Brazil borders with all the other South American states except Chile and Ecuador (Nayyar, 2008).

Therefore, it will be fair to say that Brazil enjoys a strategic location. A wide range of countries surrounds Brazil. The country over the time has successfully established political and trade relationship with all its neighbors.

The climate of Brazil also has a huge impact on the slight economical fluctuation that the country faces. The two most constantly highlighted ways by various economist of how the climate changes affects the Brazilian agriculture includes land values and agricultural profitability (Schnepf, Dohlman & Bolling, 2001).
