A persuasion is a technique used in order to require the desired target group to take an action. The major point of difference that exists between the argument and persuasion is that the persuasion helps in identifying the target audience to whom the writing should address. An analytical essay aims at making an argument, whereas the persuasive piece of writing helps in selecting a problem that the writer believes exist and choose a group of people who have the potential to bring about a resolution to the problem. For example, in order to persuade someone that the driving age should be 18 years in United States, then a persuasive essay would be written in a manner that incorporates the convincing statements along with the pros and cons of the subject. Persuasive essay takes an informal writing approach that is why sometimes the personal pronouns could also be used in the essay. Usually the persuasive writing is about the topic that is less academic and concentrates more on the real life issues.
