Animal Behavior

Background

Humans and animals are both one of the most astonishing yet noteworthy creation in the world. From the very simple walk, crawl, run, hop or swim to something as extravagant as mating, hunting or even something as simple as merely surviving it is no doubt exquisite to not only watch their every move, but even more to understand them. While some animals on one hand, indulge in intricate mating rituals, merely to attract their significant others whereas at other times its intriguing enough to observe how these animals tend to employ the most clever means possible just to hunt down their prey or engage in something as simple as finding food for their young ones. (Cziko, G., 2000) Similarly, its equally shocking to see how these habitants of nature tend to display motherly affection towards their children while on the other hand snarl at the sight of their enemies. All of this fascinating animal behavior can be summed up and explained in the whole evolution of life. (AllAboutScience.org 2012)

Whether it is the fish and the flowers or the birds and the bananas or even the butterfly and the might birch, they are all intertwined and related to one another. Moreover, Darwin's theory argues that the animals and the plants that we today have evolved overtime from their primitive ancestors through a process known as natural selection. This process states that the beneficial traits of our ancestors over an extended period of time resulted in what is known as today's plant or animal. In other words, we are the most up to date model of what is ...
