Abstract
In this research we try to explore the reasons behind the ban over the advertising of cigarette while there have been no restrictions over the advertising of alcoholic products. Further the research analyses the aspects of alcoholic as well as the advertising of cigarette & its impacts over the teenagers. Finally it proposes the strategies to control the adverse impacts of alcohol advertising & for defining its limitations.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Background of the study
Smoking is considered to be far more risky & unsafe in comparison to alcohols & even the traffic accidents. A report was published by the Journal of Medicine in New England in 2007 Dec over the issue of deaths of 490,000 women & men who reported that they are using alcohol in 1999. The comparison of the risk of deaths due to smoking of cigarettes & alcohols was done & they were considered as factors of death in the middle age. While it was found out that the consumption of alcohol has the ability of slightly reducing the risk of death in the age bracket of 35 to 69 years, & the smoking of cigarette doubles the hazards & risk of death. It was noticed that smoking is 12 times more the reason behind deaths in comparison to accidents in traffic accidents in U.K.; keeping in view the fact that 2/3 of the population is not smoking. As there was no level of safe smoking found out that served as a strong reason for banning the advertising of cigarette where as only extreme & unnecessary drinking & driving unsafely boost the death risks?
