ABSTRACT
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Good Cereal for Human Being” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Good Cereal for Human Being” and its relation with “Cereal Biotechnology”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Good Cereal for Human Being” and tries to gauge its effect on “Cereal Biotechnology”. Biotechnology contributes significantly to the implementation of a sustainable agricultural system as it is able to produce more food in front a lower environmental impact than agriculture conventional.

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
Introduction of the Book
The book Cereal Biotechnology is edited by Peter C Morris and James H Bryce. This book provides a thorough study about cereal technology and a detailed explanation of product development, specific applications and current regulation, an analysis of the potential added value benefit for producers and consumers, an examination of the potential risks raised by the new technology and insights into the all-important question of consumer acceptability.
The benefits of biotechnology go far beyond the benefits to the environment and farmers. Consumers have the advantage of access to healthier foods and expected benefits will increase significantly. Consumers biotech crops will soon be enriched with nutrients and, in the case of soybeans, will enjoy a range of health benefits resulting from a higher content of protein and oil. Ensuring the safety of consumers is the most important aspect in all phases of production.
Problem Statement
The purpose of the research is found out which cereal is good for health for a human being and what contribution does biotechnology play in genetic modification in food processing.
Significance of the Study
The significance of the study is that biotechnology can help solve the crisis of World food and have a positive impact on world hunger. According to the UN, food production will grow by 50 percent by 2030 in order to meet the needs of a growing population. In some developing countries has been observed that agricultural biotechnology has been able to multiply by seven to ten times the production, well beyond the capacity of traditional agriculture, and the international community took note. In 2007, 12 million farmers in ...
