Survey Analysis

The survey analysis of the study will provide the significance of social media tools being used effectively in order to make the organizations successful. The survey was conducted from 25 participants and the descriptions of their responses are as follows:

1. What is your job title?

When the respondents were asked about their job title, the respondents were divided in to three categories. The first category comprised of participants in the management level, second category comprised administrative employees of the organizations. This demonstrates that those respondents belonged to various categories depending their job nature and description.

2. What industry do you work in?

When the respondents were asked about the industry they work in, 36% respondents answered that they work in accounting industry, 24% respondents answered that they work in the manufacturing industry. Furthermore, none of the respondents was from insurance and banking industry. In addition, 40% respondents answered they belong to industries other than this. The survey participants were based on all industries as it demonstrates the accuracy of results and justifies the significance of social media.

3. What is your gender?

When the respondents were asked about their gender, 64% respondents answered as male and 36% respondents were male. Males and females use social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. According to survey, 60% use Facebook in comparison to 40% male usage. Furthermore, in case of usage of Twitter 57% female use Twitter and 43% male use Twitter. In addition, it was also analyzed that 37% female use GooglePlus and 63% use it in comparison. Furthermore usage of LinkedIn by female was 45% and male usage was 55%. This demonstrates that the usage of social networks in certain case such as Facebook and Twitter was more used by females while LinkedIn and GooglePlus were used more by males.

4. What is your age group?

When the respondents were asked about their age group, none of the respondents belonged to age group 18-21. Furthermore, 64% respondents answered they belonged to the age group 22-30. In addition, 32% respondents answered that they belonged to age group 31-47 and 4% respondents answered they belonged to age group 40 and over. Young aged people belonging to the age group 22-30 are more attracted towards using social networking websites and among their usage the most popular is Facebook which is social platform where they discuss their issues and communicate. Similarly, usage of social networking sites is less among middle aged and old aged group as mentioned above.

5. How many hours do you spend online each day?

When the respondents were asked about hours they spend online each day, 4% respondents answered they spend 0-1 hours each day and 32% respondents answered they spend 2-3 hours. Furthermore, 20% respondents answered that they spend 4-5 hours and 24% respondents answered that they spend 6-7 hours each day. In addition, 20% respondents answered that they spend ...
