ABSTRACT
This research focuses on the topic the costs and benefits of implementing MIS to SME in the UK. The researcher used mixed research to study the topic in depth. The research questions addressed in this research are what is management information system? What is the basic cost of implementing MIS? And what are the benefits of implementing MIS in UK small enterprises? The researcher came to conclusion that the benefits associated with the MIS implementation in the UK small and medium enterprises outweighs its cost. This research focussed on the small and medium enterprise in the United Kingdom. This research discussed the factors on which the successful implementation of the management information system depends. The researcher also discussed the implementation method of the management information and also threw light on the different types of the management information system. To get an in depth information about the cost and benefits associated with the management information system, the researcher also conducted a survey.
