Summary

The Shia or ( Shi'ites) are those people who believe in the oneness of Allah, follow Prophet Mohammad and after Prophet follow the instructions of Ali Ibn Abu Talib.shia muslins constitute around 15% population of the muslin world. The population is increasing rapidly due to the crystallization of Islam and rejection of believing a false follower. Shia has a strong believe that Islam is the most liberal and complete religion which was revealed for the betterment of humans. The Shia'ism has a great impact in the Muslim world. Around 90% of Muslims in Iran are Shias, and the number is increasing in other countries such as Iraq, Bahrain and Yemen.

The Shia scholars have emphasized on the fact that it is allowed to follow and adopt the school of thought laid down by the Shia community. They have a glowing history which reveals their struggle against the Kufaar and the non muslins.

If we look at the Muslim population, it is divided into two groups, the Shia community and the Sunni community. There have been disputes between both communities since the death of Prophet Muhammad. Both the communities have similar beliefs but there are certain traditions that Shia follows and the Sunni does not support these beliefs. The Shia's belief that after Prophet Muhammad there will be twelve successors. Shia believes that every Muslim should about these successors and should follow their guidelines. Muntadar and Mahdi are alive and will come in sight with the permission of ALLAH. They believe that they will come and spread justice and equality in the world. The Shia's have laid down many proof and evidences for these beliefs and traditions. The Shia Muslims says that they have gathered evidence from the Holy Quran, Sunnah and through consensus.

Shia's also believe that the prime leader of the Muslim community is Ali, who is considered as Imam. They follow a religious practice in which they remember Ali's son who was killed near the town of Karbala.They remember on the 10th day of Muharram.Shia's give huge respect to Imams and have constructed pilgrimages and tombs.

The Shia's believe that the Islamic system is based on principles that will benefit the life of humans not only in this world but also in the hereafter. It contains laws that regulate the life of a Muslim from its birth till its death. They also provide laws through which the society can become a just and peaceful place to live. Shia's think that the religion Islam answers every question of mankind and provides guidelines through which Muslims can lead a successful life. Shia's mission is to spread Islam in the world and to implement its law in each and every field of life. They think that Islam provides correct beliefs, freedom, happiness and complete peace.
