Why Sahih Books are Typically not Accepted in the Shia World?
Introduction
In the Muslim Culture, there are two sources which act as guide for the Muslims to live and model their lives by. In the list, the first source is the Holy Quran, a subject on which all Muslims, Shias and Sunnies, agree upon and follow. The second source is the Sunna that is inclusive of the deeds, sayings and confirmations of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) (Fadli , 2002, pp. 78). There are different books that educate the Muslims about the teachings and hadiths of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the four caliphates. In these books, the Sunni Muslims also include the Sahih books and they refer to these books for religious guidance. However, the authenticity of the Sahih books is questioned by many around the Shia Muslim community which is the reason why they are unaccepted by the Shiaite community.

Critical Analysis of why Sahih Books are not Accepted in Shua World
In shia world these books are not considered trustworthy. These Sahih books are Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Tirmidhi and Nasai. The Sahih books educate the Muslims about the right and appropriate way of living as par the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as well as the four caliphates. The Sahih books are accepted by the Sunni community as they believe that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) have adviced them to follow the teachings of the caliphates as well. However, this is not the case with the Shia community as they do not believe in all the caliphates. The only believe and follow Hazrat Ali and do not believe the other three caliphates. This is one of the major reasons why they do not accept the Sahih books because they mention all the four caliphates. This is the main reason why these books are generally not available in the Shia world.
Jurisprudence of the Shiaites for Sahih Books
The jurisprudence of the Shiaites with respect to the establishment of the authenticity of any information is related in one-way. It does not matter to them if the narration has been found or taken from a Sunni book or a Shiaite book as that is not an endorsement for its veracity in their eyes.
Sahih Books are narrated by Others Than Ahlul Bait
They consider practices and sayings of Prophet Muhammad and His family more authentic as compared to the Sayings of the “Sahaba/ Caliphs” or anyone else. In any book which is known as 'Sahih' which means Correct, it is required to be trustworthy, including the Shia books. Their adherence or preference to the Sunni or Shiaite side of Islam is not a matter of consideration in this regard. There is a verse in the Holy Quran which says
“O, you who believe! If an evildoer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it.” (49:6)
“And follow not that of which you have not the knowledge.” (17:36)
