ABSTRACT

 

The paper will choose an issue related to a specific developmental periods and design a social welfare program rooted in the values and ethics of the social work profession. The paper describes how program will measure its effectiveness. The paper discusses the social Work roles utilized to accomplish the program. The paper examines existing institutional responses to the specific issue and target population selected that is adolescent.  The paper clearly indicates an understanding of social policy, legislation, existing and proposed programming and possible funding sources responding to the chosen areas of human need. The paper further examines the issues of life crises in light of age, appropriate bio-cognitive and psycho-social development.  That program address the gap or stress related to the expected age of appropriate development. The paper identifies the particular focus of the program as it relates to normative development and maximizing potential. The paper discusses ways in which the proposed program illustrates key principals of the Generalist Model of Social Work Practice.  The paper identifies the guiding values and ethical principles that inform the proposed program.  The Social work roles that will be a central part of the proposed program should be highlighted and the levels of intervention-micro, mezzo, macro that most appropriately describe the proposed program.

OUTLINE

 

Chapter I: Introduction

The research subject/project will be introduced in the start, consisting of the aims and objectives of the research as well as its logic and reasons.

 

 Chapter II: Discussion

Choose an issue or life crises related to a specific developmental periods and design a social welfare program rooted in the values and ethics of the social work profession.  Describe how your program will measure its effectiveness. Discuss the social Work roles utilized to accomplish the program.

Examine existing institutional responses to the specific issue and target population selected.  The paper should clearly indicate an understanding of social policy, legislation, existing and proposed programming and possible funding sources responding to the chosen areas of human need.

Examine the issues of life crises in light of age, appropriate bio-cognitive and psycho-social development.  The program should address the gap or stress related to the expected age of appropriate development.  Identify the particular focus of the program as it relates to normative development and maximizing potential. The relationship between program goals and individual client goals must be delineated.

Discuss ways in which the proposed program illustrates key principals of the Generalist Model of Social Work Practice.  Identify the guiding values and ethical principles that inform the proposed program.  The Social work roles that will be a central part of the proposed program should be highlighted and the levels of intervention-micro, mezzo, macro that most appropriately describe the proposed program should be addressed.

            The research approach used will be qualitative.

 

Chapter IV: Conclusion

It consists of the general overview and major discoveries of the research.
