Management is about the process of getting the work done by and through other people. Management primarily has four functions, which are as follows (Robbins, 1994):
Planning- Answering what is to be done.
Organizing- Answering how is to done
Leading- lead the employees in a specific goal oriented direction
Controlling-It is about evaluating performance and taking corrective actions.
