This study deals with the marketing and business strategies of the food companies to maximize their profit at the expense of the public health. It also highlights the effect of these products and need to create the public awareness. This study also emphasizes on the responsibility of these food companies for improvement in the quality of their product and avoiding harmful chemical substances.

Introduction
Nowadays food companies are growing more and more. The fast and busy lifestyle with various other activities has suddenly increased consumption of company manufactured foods. This food is generally the tin packed, canned, processed, frozen and dried form of various food products that are available in the market. People are becoming habitual to this kind of food because these are easy to use and quick to serve. Food companies also include beverage manufactures and other companies that offer the products like ice creams, snakes, and other soft drinks. There are also a large number of sweets and chocolate manufacturing companies which always earn very high profit. All these food manufacturing companies are increasing their profit by attractive and mouthwatering advertisements. This creates great concern for the health authorities because due to these food products there are more health issues. The most common is the obesity and heart diseases due to cholesterol. This requires proper attention towards this concern and the need to create the public awareness about the side effects of these products. It is also important to direct the attention of these food companies about this issue. These companies must improve their quality and try to avoid the harmful chemical ingredients in these products.
