Q1. The name of the organization is Massachusetts Department of Correction facility. The person who interviews was Mark Twain. He is the deputy Commissioner of re-entry program.

Q2. The main reason behind choosing this individual of this organization is that Mr. Mark possesses vast experience, and knowledge related to this field, and he is the right person to obtain information related to this field.

Q3. The interview was taken on 24th. October.2011 at around 6.00 pm.

Q4. The main objective of the organization is to provide various prisoners re-entry programs to reduce the rate of re-arrest of the inmates after their release.

Q5. Correctional policy makers have made countless attempts to create a system. Through this system, offenders would be able to serve their sentence and then be released back into the community without the risk of re-offending. In order to fulfill this purpose, our organization makes the provision of re-entry program to inmates for their successful return to society and to reduce the rate of recidivism. Q6. The prison population that is preparing to hit the streets can be classified as a high-risk population group. After the release, if the inmates are kept under supervision then there is zero tolerance regarding usage of the drugs, technical violations and various other minor criminal behaviors. If violence occurs then the inmates can be sent back to the prison. These re-entry programs help inmates to go back to society and live their lives normally.
