God is the creator of the whole cosmos and every thing in it according to the bible as written in Genesis 1 and 2. It is believed in science that the cosmos came into existence as a result of the big bang. God was in the beginning ever before He thought about creating the world, this a proof that there is God, I have heard people say , " There is someone up there", and I see them pointing towards the sky not knowing if they really know who is up there.
God has a lot of attributes that characterize His nature according to the bible which might be different from the worldview, I will discuss a few of these. God is love and He extended His love to us through sending His son, Jesus to die for us as a sacrifice for our sins 1 John 4:8 and John 3:16. Worldview is that Jesus did not know He was going to be killed, they don't believe that this was planned to be for a reason
God is light and in Him is no darkness 1 John 1:5, He is holy and faithful, only Him should be worshiped, Revelation 15:4 and 1 Corinthians 1:9 (Maria et.al., 2003, 41). Worldview is that God cannot be trusted because He allows bad things to happen to good people, this should have been cleared by Job 1 and 2 were Satan was given permission for everything he did to Job from God, he did not touch Job's life as warned by God. God already knew what Job will do as He knows about us all one by one and will take care of us if any bad thing happens.
Worldview is that secret for man is secret for God not knowing that God is spirit and we cannot see Him. God is all powerful as written in Job 42:2, with God nothing is impossible just as the angel of God told Elizabeth in Luke 1:37 when she doubted that she would have a child at an old age. Worldview is that a women who has passed the age of conception cannot be able to have a child according to scientific studies because she can no longer produce eggs (Kaplan, 2004, 129).
In conclusion, God's basic nature is love and concern, He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent, ever able and indeed always vigilant to come to our aid. He never slumbers nor sleeps, He loves us with a passion and intensity we can only dimly perceive. We are the apple of His eyes and He has tattooed us on the palm of His hands, Zachariah 2:8 and Isaiah 49:16.
