Introduction
The study is related to the use of wireless devices which particularly focuses on the increase or decrease in human efficiency of productivity in the workplace. The phenomenon is important to study as it is observed that increasing use of IT products, affecting the life of people. Like in the case when an individual uses his mobile device at the workplace then its attentions gets diverted from the work due to which the productivity of employee decreases as the efficiency of employee decreases which ultimately affects the overall productivity of the organization.
Discussion
The use of mobile devices in workplace is something that is taking place very often as it is observed that people use their mobile or wireless devices at the work due to which the efficiency of human in terms of productivity get affected in the workplace. From the past researchers, it is found that over 50% of employees currently use their own mobile device to work. While these devices can increase productivity, they are also a source of risk to the corporate network. Most Smartphones are designed for the consumer market and do not provide adequate security mechanisms for a company. Nevertheless, given the increased speed networks of telecommunications companies, organizations give mobile access to a growing variety of business applications. And an increasing amount of sensitive data is transmitted by the radio interface and resides on the hard drives of mobile devices; all types of organizations are seeking ways to increase the security of this data (Stair, 2011, 18-24).
In relation to, using wireless increase or decrees human efficiency of productivity in workplace, mobile Internet and network access from the Smartphone or tablet have long been the norm for many people, but if they prefer to access the mobile network access to a computer at work, the colleagues will think that the individual have something to hide.
