In decisions concerning to the health care projects, an active role is being taken by Americans. To support consumers in their care decision-making, new tools and information are being developed. The management of stakeholders is one of the most daunting problems faced by healthcare projects. Within a certain healthcare project, care area or department, even across the entire organization or along service lines, like, cardiology, variability or process issues around a particular piece of technology might exists in health care. Clinical procedures, like, intensive care unit protocols or medication administration or workflow and registration and operational processes, like, billing, are might related to potential six sigma projects.
Within a health care organization, there are some basic guidelines for six sigma project selection while the organization undoubtedly has many stakeholders to satisfy and multiple priorities that must be kept in balance and weighed. This paper addresses the key characteristics that must be considered while selecting project management tools for a healthcare organization.

The project is driven by the knowledge about the critical to quality elements and customer and which must be the first consideration, when prioritizing and reviewing the opportunities in an organization.
