Introduction

Stephenie Meyer was born on December 24, 1973 in Hartford, Connecticut. Meyer grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and was one of six children. She met her husband, Christian, in high school, but they did not marry until she graduated from Brigham Young University. Meyer has three sons. Meyer's started her writing career in Young Adult fiction. In 2005, she published her first book, Twilight, about a teenager who falls in love with a good vampire. Meyer has also published four sequels to Twilight and one adult novel, The Host.

Here, I have taken out the piece of typical romance and love found between the lead characters of the novel, as assembled by the author's imagination in the form of her inscription, for its critical analysis in comparison with the romance-based other literatures, its relevance with the popular culture, and the real life so as to come up with a distinct opinion about its critique. The characters of Edward and Bella are taken in a holistic view throughout this research paper with an intention to create an un-biased analysis at the utmost level to provide it in the form of a useful report for its esteemed readers. Any pitfalls or difference of opinion might occur between the perception of its reader and creator, but the objective of this report is just limited to providing a neutral psychiatry about the novel in relevance with the genre of romance and love.
