Stephen's Wright's third innovative, Going Native, is in writing as a postmodern modular satire. Robert Coover very rightly recounted Going Native as "a sensational major time novel a pornographic twilight zone of beebee-eyed successive murderers, drug-stunned pants-dropping road-warriors and 'marauding detachments of mental vampires,' a nightmarish homeland of unparalleled savagery, where there is no longer any membrane between computer display and life and the monster likeness feed is inexhaustible."
