Introduction

Leadership is about direction, movement and vision. It is the ability of a leader to influence the behaviour of employees and persuade them to follow a course of action (Stogdill, 1974). Effective leadership is an important factor in organization's success (Northouse, 2001). It is the act which brings to success all of the potent potential that is present in a firm. In other words, leadership is an essential way in which they change the minds of others and help businesses move forward to achieve the defined goals. The above definition defines two personalities that are well equipped with all the above defined characteristics to be called as the world's most successful leaders of all times. The two most successful leaders are Warren Buffet and Steve jobs.

Warren Buffet

Warren Buffet is a business investor, American industrialist and a philanthropist (Nielson, 1996). He is the most successful business investor in the world, called the "legendary investor Warren Buffett." He is constantly mentioned in the list of the richest people in the world and the third richest man in the world in 2010.He is constantly mentioned in the list of the richest people in the world and the third richest man in the world in 2010. Warren Buffett was born on August 30, 1930 in Omaha, a city of half a million people in Nebraska. His father, Howard, worked as a stockbroker in the worst time that the stock market has ever known. It was 1931 when Howard was to take money to the bank and found it closed. He had lost his job and his savings were deposited in a bank that opened not the doors. Over the years, Howard re-launched the business and became a congressman in Washington for the Republican Party: history, in short, a self-made man who adopted as motto safeguarding own moral reputation.
