Time management refers to skills, tools, techniques and processes to complete the activities, tasks and projects and achieve goals. This includes planning, prioritization, scheduling, resource allocation, goal setting, delegation, time studies, monitoring, management, and organization theory. Originally objective time management alone business and professional work, but over time the term also came to be applied to personal time management for studies and personal life (Covey, 1990).
