There are several beliefs in republicanism for example, civic virtue is considered as an important pillar, the advantages of the universal political participation, corruption, separate powers needed and respect for the laws.

Thomas Jefferson was the third elected president of the United States. He was born in 1743 at Shadwell Virginia. He strongly believed in republicanism and also emphasized on the limited government, majority rule, minority protection and freedom for religions. When he was elected president of the United States some of his thoughts were changed, and he took the political move for his government.

American Revolution has a great impact on the American society. The founders of the United States formed a large-scale republic successfully and also their civic discourse was appreciable on liberty through speeches pamphlets and other written announcements. He governed the human affairs until 1776. Jefferson was not in favor of slavery, and he denounced the trade of slavery as execrable commerce.
