Introduction

The treaty of Westphalia played a major role in ending the last major war fought between the European nations. The war that was fought for Thirty Years (Benecke, Gerhard (1978).) on the basis of religion, cast, color and creed, brought great amount of devastation to all the European countries engaged in the war.
